Villa Pantai, meaning "beachfront" in Balinese,
is a luxury villa located on the beach in the peaceful village
of Amed, Bali. It is a scenic, two-hour ride from the airport.
You'll find you've lost time all together, so leave your timepiece
and handphone at home.
Villa Pantai is a private villa, set against a gorgeous mountain
backdrop offering incredible, lush views wherever you look.
You'll be awakened by the stunning sunrises - witness the
local fishermen arriving with their daily bounty.

Accommodation
Villa Pantai offers nearly 7000 sq ft. of secluded luxury
on 1.5 acres of private beachfront. Boasting four spacious
suites with spectacular views, A/C, and 4.5 full, modern Western
bathroom facilities, Villa Pantai is the essence of true luxury!
Three bedrooms are furnished with romantic, 4-poster teak
beds draped in delicate netting. All suites have heavenly
views of the sea and mountains. For an added convenience there
is a laundry facility available in the villa.
The kitchen is fabulous. Granite countertops, seating for
8-12 people, stainless steel appliances, gas stove with oven,
and other modern conveniences - all surrounded by windows
facing the beach, gardens and swimming pool area. The kitchen
flows into the adjacent living area - with plush leather couches,
koi pond, media center (boasting 60" plasma TV with an
extensive DVD collection), and 650 gallon saltwater aquarium
filled with colorful, local species. Wander the villa and
enjoy the collection of local Asian artwork and intricate
carvings.
There is grand billiard hall with an adjoining, state-of-the-art
fitness room. Cool off on a raft in the sleek, lighted, 50ft.
swimming pool. Enjoy a traditional Balinese massage poolside
in the privacy of the shaded, open-air pavilion - a truly
hypnotic experience. Teak furniture with cozy cushions surround
the pool where you might relax, work on your tan, enjoy a

Scheduled feeding time for our fishy friends is 9a.m. and

Location
Amed is the perfect getaway and this private villa will assure
you a trip of a lifetime. This coast is Bali’s easternmost
point, which is highlighted with spectacular sunrises over
the neighboring island of Lombok and the hundreds of brightly
painted jukungs (fishing boats) returning to shore in the
early mornings. Enjoy a cup of tea early in the morning from
the villa's second story balcony and witness some of the most
incredible sunrises. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse
of dolphins right off the beach playing in the waters. Most
people would agree after spending some time in Amed that this
is Bali’s best-kept secret.
Local Activities
Diving & Snorkeling:
There is an abundance of activities to choose from, including
some of the best diving and snorkeling in Bali. Knowledgeable
staff can arrange any number of unique excursions. Get picked
up in a fishing boat or diving boat at the backyard beach!
Take a short 30-minute drive to Tulamben to witness the famous,
sunken USS Liberty, this is world-class diving destination.
Local dive masters are available to teach beginners and challenge
experienced divers - all equipment is new and professionally
maintained.
Mountain Trekking:
Beautiful mountains are right out your front door. If hiking
is on your list of "things to do," take a trip to
Mt. Agung (3000 meters). Local guides can lead you to the
mountain top, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the
island.
Bike Hire:
Daily motorbike rentals are available if you feel like exploring
the island on your own - what a unique way to see the local
way of life.
Fishing Trip:
A local fishing trip can be scheduled - you can be picked
up at the Villa on the beach before sunrise. Try your luck
at catching a big tuna or barracuda; then have it specially
prepared that evening into a tasty, local recipe. We recommend
taking a boat trip at sunset, as the views from the water
are breathtaking.
Day Tours:
A private shuttle and driver is available to take you anywhere
on the island at an additional charge. Don't miss Ubud, the
cultural center of the island. Great shopping, wonderful food,
and spectacular dance performances can be found here. View
the spectacular rice fields throughout Bali. Beautiful Hindu
temples are found everywhere on the island. A trip to the
local water palace is very interesting. The Bali Bird Park
and Reptile Park allows you to visit the local birds and animals
"up close and personal." There are so many things
to see and do on the island, or you can just relax and do
nothing at all.
Balinese Massage:
If you are here for mind and body, relax with a traditional
massage. Enjoy your massage in your own private open-air pavilion
which sits right off of the beach. The sound of the waves
