Formerly a sleepy villages, few adventurous travelers have found its way toward the eastern part of Bali since at least the last decade. The recent completion of the four-lane highway known as by-pass Kusamba has open the isolation. Candidasa is now reachable within less than a hour drive through scenic coastline highway.
